Microsoft D365 F&O Sr Consultant
About the role
The Emerging ERP Solutions practice focuses on delivering cloud-based ERP applications such as Workday Financials, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), and Infor to transform finance and supply-chain processes into more efficient and cost-effective solutions. Teams leverage Deloitte’s expertise to deliver lasting results for clients, collaborating closely with CFOs, CIOs, and business unit leaders to drive business transformation and continuous support across industries. Projects span Workday Financials, Supply Chain Management, Infor Solutions, Microsoft Dynamics, and Sustainability Technology and Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Understand client business needs and model their processes into the ERP, leveraging product strengths to meet requirements and bridge gaps for added value.
- Design and manage end-to-end implementations of D365 F&O, applying industry-leading processes.
- Build company tools and assets, improve delivery processes, select software and ISVs, and train on new versions and tools.
- Provide deep domain expertise in one or more vertical industries to establish credibility with customers and prospects.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage platform capabilities.
- Lead a project workstream (including Deloitte and client personnel), planning activities, leading design sessions, configuring D365, coordinating cross-functional activities, maintaining documentation and progress statistics, overseeing testing, and managing Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions.
- Manage technical workstreams for end-to-end D365 F&O implementations, review functional and technical documentation, develop integrations and data migrations, and collaborate through testing phases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large or boutique consulting firm, or serving as an internal consultant within industry.
- 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience.
- 3+ full-life cycle implementations in Finance or Operations.
- 5+ years of experience in business requirement documentation and design documentation, including preparing and leading workshops with key stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of degree, 8 years of experience in D365/AX ERP implementation.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred
- 5+ years of data migration tools and processes within Dynamics 365 experience.
- 5+ years of experience with D365 Supply Chain Management or Finance solution data model.
- D365 Retail experience.
Pay
The wage range for this role considers factors such as skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differentials. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $116,000 to $229,100. Eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to program rules and performance factors.
