Microsoft D365 F&O Sr Consultant

About the role

As a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Senior Consultant, you will model client business processes into the ERP, leverage product strengths to meet requirements, and bridge gaps to deliver value. You will design and manage end-to-end implementations of D365 F&O, contribute to industry best practices, and play a key role in building company tools, improving delivery processes, selecting software, and training on new versions.

You will lead project workstreams, including planning, design sessions, configuration, cross-functional coordination, documentation, testing oversight, and risk management. Responsibilities also include managing technical workstreams, reviewing functional and technical documentation, developing integrations, data migrations, and collaborating through testing phases.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions leveraging Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Lead project workstreams, including planning, design, configuration, and testing.
• Manage technical aspects of end-to-end D365 F&O implementations.
• Develop integrations and data migrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders during testing phases.
• Build company tools, improve delivery processes, and train on new versions.
• Establish credibility with clients through deep domain expertise in vertical industries.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment or as an internal consultant.
• 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O experience.
• 3+ full-life cycle implementations in Finance or Operations.
• 5+ years of experience in business requirement and design documentation, including leading stakeholder workshops.
• Bachelor’s degree or, in lieu of degree, 8 years of D365/AX ERP implementation experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data migration tools and processes within Dynamics 365.
• 5+ years of experience with D365 Supply Chain Management or Finance, including solution data modeling.
• Experience with D365 Retail.

Pay

The wage range for this role is $116,000 to $229,100, reflecting factors such as skill sets, experience, and organizational needs. Compensation decisions depend on individual and organizational performance. You may also be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program.
