Microsoft Adoption & Change Manager
About the role
The Microsoft Adoption & Change Manager consultant will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams while driving successful adoption of Microsoft solutions and ensuring organizational readiness for change.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Assess organizational readiness and identify stakeholder impacts associated with Microsoft technology changes.
- Develop and execute change management strategies, communications plans, and adoption activities.
- Understand user resistance and guide teams through transformation.
- Create executive presentations, communications materials, training content, job aids, and user guidance.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Deliver classroom training to clients virtually and in person.
- Build and maintain a case for change, project vision, and business readiness plans.
- Capture user feedback, adoption metrics, and continuous improvement activities.
- Support Microsoft 365, Copilot, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, and related transformation initiatives.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and client leadership to align business objectives with project outcomes.
- Provide status updates, risk identification, issue management, and stakeholder communications throughout the engagement.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Organizational Change Management, Adoption & Change Management, or related consulting roles.
Experience supporting Microsoft-focused programs, including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, Power Platform, or other Microsoft cloud solutions.
Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, and facilitation skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and frontline users.
Experience developing communication plans, training strategies, and user adoption programs.
Strong presentation development and workshop facilitation capabilities.
Ability to create executive-level communications and visually compelling presentations.
Experience working in large-scale transformational, migration, or technology modernization programs preferred.
Prosci certification or formal change management training preferred.
Consulting experience within complex enterprise environments preferred.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master preferred.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Copilot, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, and related technologies.
Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
Experience with project management software and tools.
