About the role
As the Manager, Prime Air Enterprise Systems, reporting to the organization Director, you will drive overall program-level enterprise systems strategy, roadmaps, and execution. This includes enterprise tools such as enterprise resource planning, demand and supply planning, manufacturing execution systems, product lifecycle and engineering definition systems, workflow management, Prime Air Systems (aircraft and ground systems) maintenance systems, and collaboration tools.
The product manager leads a team to quickly and efficiently deliver results, drive improvement, and ensure the Prime Air program plan is achieved. You will work effectively with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver large or significant features successfully, resulting in measurable improvements to customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Define the strategic vision for major features or a product, establish a roadmap, and drive internal and external technical teams to deliver on that vision.
- Make crisp decisions about project prioritization and manage all stages of the lifecycle (from concept to delivery).
- Understand the architecture of systems and technologies behind your product (e.g., workflows, APIs, runtime characteristics, design limitations, and maintenance requirements).
- Influence technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions.
- Advocate for resource allocation to achieve desired customer or business outcomes.
- Communicate ideas effectively to all types of audiences, including writing narratives, PR/FAQs, and other strategic documentation.
- Foster constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead resolution of contentious issues to build consensus.
- Partner successfully with technical and non-technical customers, stakeholders, compliance, and engineering teams.
- Set exemplary product management practices and routinely deliver the right things efficiently.
- Act as a simplifier by judiciously adding, refining, and removing features.
- Proactively identify risks and create mitigation plans before they become roadblocks.
- Actively participate in the hiring process and mentor others.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
- Experience managing technical products or online services.
- Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight.
- Experience building and driving adoption of new tools.
- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize work requests, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting, and launching analytic products.
- Experience in technical product management, program management, or engineering.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
Pay
Base salary range: $151,200.00 - $204,600.00 USD annually (Seattle, WA). Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
