About the Practice Group

Our Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group represents Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, investment banks, and privately-held companies in their most high-profile and complex mergers and acquisitions. Learn more about the team and the work you could do.

About You

  • High performer with 2 – 4 years of significant experience in mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
  • Experience handling domestic and cross-border transactions, on both the buy and sell-side.
  • Solid understanding of complex structural and corporate issues pertaining to acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, spin-offs, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, recapitalization, and tender offers.
  • Ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form, with outstanding research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent business and legal problem-solving skills, with a commitment to delivering excellent client service in a team environment.
  • Strong work ethic, leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased responsibility.
  • Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible to waive in.

Pay

Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, health/welfare benefits (including parental, adoption, and fertility benefits), flexible time off, and paid holidays. The range displayed is for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on market data, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.

  • New York, NY annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000
  • San Francisco, CA annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000
  • Seattle, WA annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000
