About You
- 3-6 years of transactional/M&A experience at a law firm, primarily focused on private company M&A
- Experience includes private equity/sponsor clients on acquisitions, dispositions and growth equity
- Able to be the lead on initial stages of a deal, such as negotiating a term sheet and drafting (or marking up) the first draft of a purchase/merger agreement
- Experience managing multiple matters simultaneously
- J.D. degree (or its equivalent) and strong academic credentials
- Admitted in (and in good standing with), or taking steps to become admitted in, the applicable jurisdiction (Illinois or California)
