About the role

We are looking for a Merchant Services Sales Director to join our team. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the merchant sales team, with a goal to meet and exceed the set forth sales plan. This is a great opportunity for a driven team player that thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience managing a merchant sales team. Partnering closely with a VP of Sales, this person will use their in-depth knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including transaction flow, merchant acquisition, hardware, integration value, and various rates/ pricing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify additional opportunities for growth, and establish scalable processes to manage & grow merchant channel
  • Learn and understand all hardware, software, and reporting offered by B2Bsoft and effectively communicate this information to prospects, clients, and Account Executives
  • Create and maintain merchant services pipeline, summarized via weekly executive updates
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships and Sales teams to maximize revenue potential
  • Ensure professionalism of team members in communications and attendance of training sessions
  • Coordination of training and other sales enablement tactics to drive merchant deal flow
  • Increasing adoption of B2Bsoft’s entire suite of products

Requirements

  • 3+ years managing a merchant sales team
  • 5+ years of experience in the merchant/ISO industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the merchant/ISO ecosystem
  • Self-driven, strong communicator and networker, ability to form new relationships and influence clients.
  • Ability to identify new prospects, build pipelines and execute new sales.
  • Solicit and manage key partner relationships
