About the role
The Merchandiser - Large Store Trainee is responsible for building displays, replenishing inventory, maintaining product integrity, and providing feedback to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Builds and rotates displays
- Replenishes inventory on shelves, racks, and cold equipment
- Maintains product integrity and cleanliness
- Collects and reports on breakage and out-of-date product
- Provides feedback on competitive threats and business opportunities
- Works with Sales Supervisor and Delivery Driver to execute the picture of success
- Maintains positive relationships with customers and provides superior customer service
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Valid driver's license and compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Reliable vehicle
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- High school diploma or GED; 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Able to work a flexible or rotating schedule
- Able to respond and resolve to any customer issues
- Able to self-motivate and perform job duties with minimal supervision
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Previous Merchandising experience preferred
