Merchandiser Trainee

About the role

The Merchandiser - Large Store Trainee is responsible for building displays, replenishing inventory, maintaining product integrity, and providing feedback to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Builds and rotates displays
• Replenishes inventory on shelves, racks, and cold equipment
• Maintains product integrity and cleanliness
• Collects and reports on breakage and out-of-date product
• Provides feedback on competitive threats and business opportunities
• Works with Sales Supervisor and Delivery Driver to execute the picture of success
• Maintains positive relationships with customers and provides superior customer service

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Valid driver's license and compliance with UNITED fleet policy
• Reliable vehicle
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• High school diploma or GED; 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Able to work a flexible or rotating schedule
• Able to respond and resolve to any customer issues
• Able to self-motivate and perform job duties with minimal supervision
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Previous Merchandising experience preferred
