Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor - Maryland

About the role

Maintain provider networks in Maryland, focusing on Cumberland, Hagerstown, and Annapolis. Develop and manage relationships with contracted mental health providers.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and contract new mental health providers
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with contracted providers
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Manage provider performance and satisfaction
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate contracted providers into the organization’s services

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
• Valid Maryland Provider License
• At least 5 years of experience in mental health provider contracting and network development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Experience working with behavioral health organizations
• Knowledge of managed care systems and insurance billing processes
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
