Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor - Iowa

About the role

Mentally Healthy is seeking a 1099 contractor to join our growing provider network in Iowa. The ideal candidate will have experience in mental health therapy and be passionate about supporting clients in their communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to build a robust provider network
• Screen and refer clients to appropriate mental health services based on their needs
• Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure seamless client care
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new developments in mental health

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
• Valid state license to practice as a mental health therapist
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse populations
• Knowledge of insurance billing and coding
• Ability to travel within Iowa as needed

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong problem-solving abilities
