Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor - Illinois

About the role

Mentally healthy individuals contribute positively to their communities. This position is designed to support this goal by providing mental health services through a provider network development program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract provider management and will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers within the contracted network
• Screen and evaluate potential providers for inclusion in the network
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Provide ongoing training and support to contracted providers
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of contracted providers into the organization’s care delivery model

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
• Master's degree preferred
• Valid state license as a Mental Health Therapist
• At least 5 years of experience in mental health therapy
• Experience in provider network development and contract management

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
