About the role
This position is based at The Haven in Dothan, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Variety of activities to meet consumer needs including meal preparation, cleaning, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
- Teaching group and individual basic living skills
- Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
- Ensuring efficient operation of the facility
- Aiding with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
- Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must meet insurance eligibility requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years or older), have a good MVR, and be willing to submit to a motor vehicle report check
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
- Prior experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment is preferred

- Week 1: 7am-7pm - Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: 7am-7pm - Monday, Thursday, Friday
