Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
- Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- CNA (Nursing Assistant) – preferred.
- Patient Care Technician – preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field – preferred; Bachelor's degree in a related field – preferred.
- Experience: 6 months in psychology or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
