Mental Health Technician II - Cottonwood Care Home

Responsibilities

• Variety of activities to meet consumer needs including meal preparation, cleaning, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
• Teaching group and individual basic living skills
• Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
• Ensuring efficient operation of the facility
• Aiding with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
• Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Good MVR, willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
• Must meet insurability requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years of age)
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
• Prior experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment is preferred
