Mental Health Technician-Full Time (Adult Residential Program)

Major Responsibilities
- Supports clients’ physical and psychological safety.
- Makes sure clients take their medication correctly and reports any issues to the clinical team.
- Documents everything that happens during shifts accurately and promptly.
- Transports clients to doctor’s appointments and other necessary activities.
- Helps clients who are in crisis and assists them with daily tasks like meals and snacks.
- Assists with the admission and discharge processes, including orientation and facility tours.
- Facilitates group sessions as appropriate to their level of licensure.
- Performs light housekeeping duties and prepares supplies as needed.
Specific Skills/Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
General Skills and Requirements
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Able to sit for long periods and work on a computer.
- Able to work with individuals who have mental disabilities.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must complete first aid training.
- Must pass a health screening, TB test, and criminal record check.
