About the role
The Mental Health Technician at Chesapeake Treatment Center is responsible for developing a therapeutic relationship with and providing appropriate guidance and supervision to adolescent males.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with adolescent males
- Provide guidance and supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Assist in creating a safe and supportive environment for adolescent males
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss progress and plan interventions
- Document all interactions and observations in accordance with facility policies
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Experience in residential treatment
- One year of experience working with adolescents
- Must be 21 years of age
- Driver's license with a clean driving record
- Pass a background check and drug screen
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual
- Two to four years of experience in residential treatment

The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Full-Time, Sunday-Wednesday (Sunday 7am-11:30pm, Monday-Wednesday 3pm-11:30pm), with double shifts on Sunday and 40 hours per week.
