About the role
Arisa Health is seeking candidates for Mental Health Technician positions to support their Adult IDD TC Program in Jonesboro. The program serves individuals with mental health needs, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Responsibilities
- Provide services to clients under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Perform tasks within the scope of education and training.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, monitor, document, and evaluate client services.
- Maintain accurate records and report significant changes to supervisors and staff.
- Implement behavioral techniques to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Respond appropriately in crisis situations.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a residential setting or mental health field preferred.
- CPR for Healthcare Workers or BCLS certification for Healthcare Workers.
Qualifications
- Good computer skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Patient, consistent, and flexible demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
