Mental Health Tech- Crisis Stabilization Unit

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical team in the general activities of the program.
• Orient new individuals into the program by reviewing the schedule and ensuring their needs are met, when appropriate.
• Provide direct care and supervision to individuals receiving services.
• Facilitate recreational activities, including board games, movies, cards, etc.
• Help ensure a safe living environment for all residents, including cleaning and other housekeeping duties as requested.
• Assist with management of unstructured time.
• Help enforce program schedule and program rules.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on assigned individuals, such as behavior reports.
• Supervise and assist residents with daily living skills as needed.
• Wash linens and fill all hygiene boxes.
• Ensure orientation packets are available for all new individuals coming in for treatment.
• Assist staff in the admission process.
• Fill in for other staff as needed and assigned by the Coordinator.
• Manage facility phone service and handle referral of all emergency calls to appropriate Communicare crisis staff.
• Provide administrative assistance when requested, such as scanning documents and filing them into the chart in the EHR, making copies, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
