Mental Health Prof II Masters
Job Summary
The Mental Health Professional II is to deliver exceptional, patient-focused care by providing supervised mental health services to patients and their loved ones. Their responsibilities include conducting assessments, offering psycho-education, leading process groups, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic counseling sessions using evidence-based interventions in one-on-one, family, and group therapy.
What you will do in this Role
- Counsels patients and their loved ones in one-on-one, group, and family settings.
- Develops and implements treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Assesses the environment and patient’s safety status, reporting and responding to safety issues.
- Identifies risk factors and interventions for patients requiring special precautions.
- Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to plan and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
- Follows up with patients post-discharge as necessary.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work (LCSW), Licensed Professional/Mental Health Counselor (LPC/LMHC), Lic Master Social Worker/Reg Clin SW-Intern (LMSW/RCSW-I), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- No travel required.
