About the role
We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies in Adams and Juneau Counties.
Responsibilities
- Respond to crisis calls
- Conduct risk assessments
- Provide brief crisis counseling
- Follow up with clients in various settings such as homes, hospitals, and community locations
- Gather information and connect clients to community resources
- Maintain relationships with law enforcement, courts, and community partners
- Document interactions and adhere to laws, procedures, and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field
- Minimum one year of experience with mental health clients preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and relevant statutes
- Strong crisis assessment, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to respond within one hour
Pay
This role offers pay rates of $26/hour for crisis responses and $20/hour for non-crisis work, along with shift stipends.
Schedule
Flexible on‑call shifts, including overnight and weekend hours.
