About the role
Provides therapeutic counseling interventions and psycho-education to patients and their families on an outpatient basis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and family therapy sessions
- Provide psycho-educational workshops to patients and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
- Assess and document patient progress
- Participate in staff meetings and case conferences
Requirements
- Master's Degree - Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or health related field
- Basic Life Support certification
- Family counseling or therapist experience
Qualifications
- Current license to practice psychology, counseling, or social work in the state of Alaska
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
