Men's Basketball Assistant Coach - FT

About the role

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and execution of the men's basketball program at Keiser University. Responsibilities include recruiting, coaching, and mentoring student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and develop student-athletes
• Coach and mentor student-athletes
• Develop and implement game strategies
• Manage team finances and equipment
• Collaborate with academic advisors and faculty

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in sports management, coaching, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Experience with NCAA rules and regulations
• Knowledge of player development and performance enhancement techniques
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Skills

• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
