Assistant Men's Basketball Coach
Job Summary
Essential Functions
- Aid in the recruitment process by coordinating oral and written correspondence with student athletes.
- Support coaching and training activities during games, practices, and pre-season conditioning.
- Coordinate traveling and scheduling arrangements for future games.
- Perform clerical duties to assist with office management.
- Prepare scouting reports and exchange films with other universities.
- Maintain the academic and athletic development of student athletes.
- Cultivate relationships with the campus and surrounding community.
- Assist in directing basketball camps and clinics.
Education
Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree. Minimum of 1 year experience playing and/or coaching men's basketball at the NCAA Division I level is required. Understanding of recruitment procedures and technical fundamentals of men's basketball is needed. Strong communication and motivational skills are essential.

Compensation
The salary for this position is $40,000 annually.
