About the role

The Reminiscence Supervisor provides hands-on leadership in a memory care environment, supporting daily operations and delivering compassionate, resident-centered care. They supervise the reminiscence team, promote dementia-specific programming, and ensure family engagement.

Responsibilities

• Supervising staff
• Managing staffing, scheduling, and documentation
• Providing direct resident care
• Monitoring resident conditions
• Supporting family meetings and education sessions
• Emphasizing Resident-Centered Care and adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards
• Collaborating with leadership on training, coaching, and performance

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or dementia care
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends may be required
