Memory Care Director/Lead Med Tech

About the Role

As the Memory Care Director, you will be a critical member of the leadership team overseeing the operations of our Memory Care wing of our assisted living community. You will supervise care and medication staff, ensure the highest standard of care for our residents, and maintain open communication with residents, their families, and medical providers. This is a hands-on role working with residents, staff, and families to guide them through the dementia journey.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and medication staff in the Memory Care wing.
• Ensure the highest standard of care for residents.
• Maintain open communication with residents, their families, and medical providers.
• Guide residents, staff, and families through the dementia journey.

Requirements

• Medication technician license preferred.
• Strong communication skills to connect with staff, residents, and their families.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Commitment to supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Flexibility in role and responsibilities.
• Desire to continually build knowledge and skill sets to enhance memory care programming.
• Basic computer skills.
