Responsibilities
Engage in daily off-site promotions including distributing passes, building relationships with local merchants, and branding events to generate leads.
Collect leads at the point of enrollment and from the current member base through relationship building and referral tables.
Book membership appointments through productive phone activities and meet or exceed monthly appointment goals.
Ensure appointments translate into enough guests and meet or exceed monthly guest goals.
Present the “Fitness Tour” to all guests seen, aiming to enroll half of the guests and 25% through personal training.
Present membership options to non-members using the company-approved presentation and ensure each new member meets a manager before completing the sales process.
Ensure the Personal Sales Room financial goals are met or exceeded each month.
Follow up with members to ensure satisfaction and maintain high levels of customer service.
Maintain a clean and operational facility.
Accountable for saving members from canceling their memberships and ensuring managers approve cancellations if necessary.
Schedule work according to a monthly plan approved by the General Manager and follow the company's timekeeping policies.
Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of sales practices and techniques.
A general understanding of the Fitness Industry.
Ability to work with computers.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Independent, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
Must be a team player.
High school degree or GED required.
Must complete company sales training and orientation program.
One to two years of sales experience preferred.
