Responsibilities
- Work with direct mail vendor to manage Membership acquisition, renewal and fulfillment programs, ensuring timely delivery of membership materials to prospective, new and renewing members.
- Partner with the marketing team to promote membership through digital communication channels including email, website, digital advertising and more.
- Work with ticketing to ensure members are receiving their benefits when reserving tickets, parking and purchasing event tickets.
- Help plan and run multiple member events throughout the year.
- Extensively work with the External Affairs Operations team to ensure the highest level of data integrity and communication about member promotions, appeals, and member information updates.
- Partner with the Guest Services team to ensure staff are knowledgeable about membership and benefits.
- Work on internal teams and interact with staff on all levels to ensure and promote the membership program.
- Request and/or generate reports from Salesforce (donor and marketing database), such as Ticketure (ticketing system) and Marketing Cloud (email).
- Help oversee and assist with Member fulfillment and customer service.
- Absorb at the Membership Desk as needed during peak seasons.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 to 4 years related experience in membership, non for profit or higher education setting.
- Strong collaborator who works well independently or on team projects.
- High level of initiative and exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, to set priorities, maintain an organized schedule and observe and respect deadlines.
- Prior project management and event planning experience.
- Strong Microsoft office skills (Word and Excel); Salesforce experience a plus.
- Ability to work occasional weekends and evening special events.
Language
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, scripts, standard operating procedures, etc.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests and employees.
Physical
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to speak loudly and clearly.
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl;
- Taste or smell.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
