Membership Specialist
About the role
At UFC GYM, you will engage in external and internal marketing activities, book membership appointments, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain a clean facility. You will also be responsible for saving members from canceling their memberships and ensuring integrity in sales.
Responsibilities
- Engage in daily external marketing activities such as distributing passes and building relationships with local merchants.
- Collect leads internally through enrollment and referral activities.
- Book membership appointments and meet monthly appointment goals.
- Ensure guests receive the "Fitness Tour" and enroll half of those guests in personal training.
- Present membership options to non-members and ensure 50% of guests are enrolled with personal training.
- Meet monthly financial goals for sales drivers and ensure proper documentation.
- Follow up with new members to ensure satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean and operational facility.
- Save members from canceling their memberships.
- Attend mandatory meetings and follow a strict sales schedule.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of sales practices and techniques.
- General understanding of the fitness industry.
- Ability to work with computers.
- Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Independent, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Team player.
- High school degree or GED.
- Completed company sales training and orientation program.
- 1-2 years sales experience preferred.

Schedule
Sales schedules are set a month in advance and approved by the General Manager. All Membership Specialists must be available to work weekends and holidays. Exceptions can be made by the General Manager.
