Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains complete knowledge of and compliance with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards
- Maintains positive guest relations at all times
- Solves guest complaints and ensures guest satisfaction
- Monitors accuracy of physical sets within meeting space according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and diagrams, including room temperature, cleanliness and maintenance of convention space
- Remains visible and available providing direction to guests as a first resource within the convention and expo center
- Handles daily changes and additional requests of on-site guests
- Locates, receives and delivers packages to groups and exhibitors within the group
- Logs and maintains all transactions of package handling
- Monitors operations of all departments assisting guests while on property to ensure a smoothly run program
- Works cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Maintains confidentiality of guest information and pertinent departmental data
- Is an advocate of the company’s Mission, Vision and Values on a consistent basis
Secondary Duties And Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates with outside vendors to ensure successful programming for the group
- Creates banquet event orders and uses Micros to track and bill groups for events
- Affords assistance with compliance of all Fire Marshall regulations
Minimum Education And Qualifications
- Associates’ Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field preferred
- Three years of customer service experience in the hospitality industry
- Ability to speak English as a primary language
- In lieu of a Degree and previously mentioned experience, four years of customer service experience in the hospitality industry may be considered

- Thorough knowledge of meeting space and all areas of the casino
- Knowledge of all departments related to Banquets and Conventions
- Must complete the Core Supervisor Training course
- Must complete Fire and Safety training
- SMART alcohol awareness
Physical Demands And Work Environment
- Office work environment
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to wear the required uniform for scheduled shift
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
