Responsibilities

  • Set up and reconfigure meeting rooms with tables, chairs, AV equipment, and cabling per guest requirements
  • Conduct daily/weekly room inspections, document via QR code survey, and resolve equipment outages
  • Troubleshoot and repair AV issues; escalate complex problems through FM work order system and own resolution
  • Maintain AV inventory records, conduct preventive maintenance on equipment, and manage supply stock (markers, cables, spare equipment, furniture)
  • Provide video conference support including VIP service for pre-arranged calls and vendor coordination
  • Manage room scheduling: run setup reports, book/modify/cancel reservations
  • Support special events and 11-room conference center with concierge-level service
  • Participate in monthly team meetings and complete required training
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in AV and meeting room setup/support
  • Proficient with AV equipment: projectors, flat screens, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, cameras, room control systems, data sharing equipment
  • Software competency: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Resource Scheduler, MS Teams, Cisco Webex
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., set up/tear down furniture, and frequently walk buildings/stairs
  • Detail-oriented team player with proactive attitude and passion for creating positive experiences
  • Collaborative communicator who embraces continuous improvement and thinks outside the box

Skills

  • Superior customer service skills with ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints and multitask without direct supervision
  • Proficient in MS Office with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and collaborative style
  • Excel spreadsheet proficiency with capability to customize administrative reports

Preferred Qualifications

  • AV training/certification preferred
