Medium Voltage Termination Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain power, instrumentation, process controls, and SCADA equipment.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on power, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting of power and control systems.
• Cookordination repair, testing, and installation of power and control systems.
• Mechanical and Electrical installations.
• Rigid, EMT, PVC coated rigid conduit service, feeders, and branch circuits.
• Controls, fiber, and network cabling service.
• Sterling tubing and instrumentation service.
• Service equipment, MCC, panelboards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Master Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, or Apprentice Electrician is a plus but not a requirement.
• Field experience in the industrial field with power and control systems.
• Understanding of electrical schematics and controls.
• Self-motivated individual – able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and willing to assist in other technical disciplines.
• Hand and power tool capabilities.
• Willingness to be hands-on and work in the field alongside our engineers and field technicians.
• Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English via verbal and written methods and be comfortable and effective doing so directly to customers and co-workers.
