Medical Technologist Lead - Full-Time - Evening

About the role

Performs duties of a Medical Technologist and assists the Technical Specialist with implementing procedures, monitoring safety, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Captures proficiency testing, manages quality control, and participates in validations to maintain inspection readiness.

Affords assistance with staff competency assessments, daily bench assignments, and fosters teamwork and positive morale.

Replaces the Technical Specialist in their absence and ensures adherence to policies, regulations, and performance standards.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Clinical Laboratory Science with 3-5 years of chemistry experience. ASCP certification preferred.

Physical effort may be medium to heavy, with exposure to various environmental conditions.
