Medical Science Liaison, Sleep - CA, HI

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific exchange about FDA approved and pipeline products
• Work towards objectives of the MSL team for FDA approved products
• Establish relationships with key opinion leaders and researchers
• Facilitate development of pipeline compounds in research centers
• Support clinical operations for the company sponsored research as needed
• Liaise with investigators on research initiatives
• Align closely with Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Clinical Development teams
• Document adverse event reports to ensure product safety
• Support Medical Affairs at scientific sessions and congress meetings
• Coach team members and lead large cross-functional projects

Qualifications

• Advanced doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD or equivalent) required
• 0-2 years in pharmaceutical industry or clinical/research experience, MSL experience preferred
• Experience in Sleep Medicine preferred; Neurology or Psychiatry backgrounds considered
• Strong scientific communication skills to engage with opinion leaders
• Understanding of federal and state regulations for scientific personnel
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects and mentor team members
• Willingness to travel 60% of the time

Pay

$160,000 – $240,000 annually
