About The Role
As an Agent at Cyti Corp, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver quality mental health care.
- Process Referrals: Receive and process referrals directly from clients' insurance using established protocols.
- Client Information Management: Review and ensure all client information is complete and up-to-date.
- Insurance Verification: Update insurance information for existing patients.
- Appointment Scheduling: Call patients with insurance authorization to schedule sessions.
- Client Communication: Answer phone calls professionally, respond to inquiries, and resolve complaints.
- Needs Assessment: Identify patient needs, resolve issues, and provide effective solutions.
- Complaint Resolution: Handle and resolve service-related complaints.
- Escalation Management: Identify and escalate priority issues to senior management.
- Documentation: Fill out call notes, update reports, and maintain the team’s database.
- Data Evaluation: Obtain and evaluate all relevant data to handle complaints and queries.
- Training and Research: Engage in ongoing training and research on our therapists' specializations and availability.
- Service Updates: Keep all relevant information about our services updated.
- Billing Documentation: Ensure internal billing documents (charge slips, progress notes) are up-to-date.
- Multitasking: Efficiently switch between multiple programs within our database.
- Therapist Communication: Communicate assertively and respectfully with therapists to ensure excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Medical Office Experience: Proficient in multitasking within a medical office environment.
- Empathy and Compassion: Demonstrated experience providing compassionate service to patients.
- Communication Skills: Excellent telephone, texting, and email etiquette, with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Front Office Procedures: Familiarity with front office procedures and insurance verification processes.
- Medical Terminology: Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to insurance companies, HIPAA, and PHI.
- Electronic Medical Records: Experience with electronic medical records systems.
- Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google applications, and general computer skills.
- Learning Agility: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software programs.
Pay
Competitive base salary starting between $18-$20 per hour, with potential for variation based on experience.
