Medical Scheduler

Position: Medical Scheduler Location: Roseburg, OR - Onsite Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 / Per Hour DOE Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Job Description As an Appointment Scheduler, you will be the crucial first point of contact, connecting our patients with the expert care they need, playing a pivotal role in their healthcare journey. Every day, you will expertly manage patient schedules, clarify instructions, and leverage technology to ensure seamless care coordination, all while offering compassionate support to diverse patient populations. Key Responsibilities Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care.Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments.Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and testsCollect insurance information and patient personal data.May collect fees such as co-pays / co-insurance. Qualifications 1 minimum experience within healthcare administrationHigh school diploma or GED requiredInsurance verification and/or prior authorization experience preferredAssociate degree or healthcare certification preferred Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
