Responsibilities
- Utilize the electronic medical record (EMR) through auditing, analysis, and training.
- Work with physicians, office staff, nursing management, and staff to ensure proper EMR usage.
- Collaborate with hospitals, physicians, nursing staff, and leadership to obtain and maintain all records in the EMR.
- Ensure the medical record is complete and accurate.
- Train and motivate staff, vendors, and other key stakeholders to comply with company, Federal, and State guidelines.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents and staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of one year in nursing management in the long-term care industry.
- Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care, or geriatric nursing setting.
