About the role

The Medical Records Coordinator position at Rosebud Village involves a rotating on-call schedule and occasional coverage for nursing and CNA staffing needs. This role requires the successful utilization of the electronic medical record (EMR).

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the medical record is complete and accurate.
  • Teaches and motivates staff, vendors, and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with company, Federal, and State guidelines.
  • Works with hospitals, physicians, nursing staff, and leadership to obtain and maintain all records in the EMR.
  • Creates a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents and staff.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of one year in nursing management in the long-term industry.
  • Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care, or geriatric nursing setting.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Qualifications
