Medical Receptionist Float

About the Role

As a Patient Service Specialist Float, you will ensure the highest level of customer service to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources through the coordination and administration of the facility’s “front office” activities.

Responsibilities

• Assures provision of office functions such as patient scheduling, reception duties, medical record preparation, clinic statistics and report compilation, and data collection and dissemination.
• Obtains and tracks authorizations.
• Collects, reconciles, and prepares daily bank deposits for over-the-counter cash.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years in a medical office setting that required multi-tasking preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including keyboard familiarity, word processing, office procedures, filing, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with staff, patients, physicians, and community members.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 40 hours annually, with varied shifts from 7:00am-7:00pm. Must be available early mornings and evenings for all shifts.

Pay

$21-$25 hourly, depending on years of experience. We offer a float differential in pay and gas mileage reimbursement.
