Medical Receptionist Float

About the Role

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network is seeking a Medical Receptionist to serve as the first in-person point of contact for patients on behalf of the medical practice. This position is responsible for all aspects of front office duties assigned by a clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients
• Answering phones and directing calls
• Assisting patients and families
• Scheduling
• Registration
• Charge entry
• Payment posting
• Batch balancing
• Cash reconciliation and balancing
• Operating several types of basic office equipment

Qualifications

• Post high school office procedures preferred
• Minimum one (1) year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six (6) months in a medical setting
• Customer service experience
• Degree or relevant Certificate (e.g., Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator) may be substituted for experience

Schedule & Locations

• FTE: 1.0
• Shift: Day
• Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday, occasional evening and weekend hours may be required
• Locations: This position supports Mary Bridge Pediatric Outreach, Specialty, Urgent Care, and Primary Care Clinics and may be assigned in Gig Harbor, Tacoma, Auburn, Covington, Federal Way, Renton, Puyallup, Olympia, or Silverdale

Pay & Benefits

• Pay scale: $21.68 - $31.20 USD
