About the role
Provide physics services for the planning and delivery of therapeutic radiation treatments in line with physicians' prescriptions.
Responsibilities
- Offer technical leadership and clinical set-up expertise to radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and therapists.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on all department equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Medical Physics or a related field.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in a radiation therapy setting or completion of a CAMPEP-approved residency.
Qualifications
- Licenses and certifications including (R) ARDMS or ARRT.
- Eligibility as an authorized user on the State of Georgia Radioactive Material License.
- Participation in the American Board of Radiology Maintenance of Certification Program.
