Medical Officer (Female)

About the role

The Medical Officer (Female) is responsible for providing primary healthcare services to employees, diagnosing and treating common illnesses, responding to medical emergencies, maintaining medical records, promoting workplace health and hygiene, and supporting occupational health and compliance initiatives to ensure employee well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical treatment and first aid to employees.
• Diagnose common illnesses and prescribe appropriate medications.
• Handle workplace injuries, emergencies, and referrals to hospitals when required.
• Maintain employee medical records and prepare periodic health reports.
• Monitor occupational health and hygiene standards within the factory.
• Conduct health awareness training and wellness programs for employees.
• Manage medicine inventory and ensure adequate medical supplies.
• Ensure compliance with labor law requirements and buyer compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• BMDC registration

Requirements

• Age: 25–40 years
• Gender: Female
• Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation

Experience

• 1–5 years (freshers allowed to apply)
• Area of Business: Clinic, Diagnostic Centre, Garments, Group of Companies, Hospital
