Medical Laboratory Technologist II (Wake County) -- Temporary

This temporary position is located at 4312 District Drive, Raleigh, NC 27607 (Wake County), with the Department of Health and Human Services.
Responsibilities
This role involves performing medical laboratory tasks in the assigned area. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed will be used as management preferences to screen for the most qualified pool of applicants.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory technology, chemistry, or a biological science from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in a medical laboratory in the assigned area; or
- Associate’s degree in medical technology from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of medical laboratory experience; or
- Completion of a certified laboratory assistant course in medical technology or a comparable course from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of medical laboratory experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay
Hourly rate of pay: $30.00 (based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
