Laboratory Technologist - Temporary

Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and analyses following established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Analyze and review laboratory findings to ensure accuracy, reliability, and completeness of results.
- Calculate, verify, and document test results as required.
- Recognize and troubleshoot routine instrument or analyzer malfunctions and escalate issues when necessary.
- Prepare reagents, media, buffers, and other laboratory materials according to prescribed procedures.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities on equipment, reagents, media, and analytical methods.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Enter, manage, and verify test data within laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or other computerized databases.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulations.
- Support laboratory maintenance activities, including equipment calibration, monitoring, and routine upkeep.
- Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff and cross-functional teams to support project and operational objectives.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in cell biology or biochemistry plus 0 - 2 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience with cell-based assays required.
- Expertise in multichannel pipetting.
- Ability to calculate molarity and generate dose response curves required.

Additional preferences: Experience with lab automation desired (liquid handlers / plate readers, robotics).
Pay
$25.00-$30.00 per hour
