He/she will work with self-discipline, good judgment, and considerable independence while following established standards of practice. Day-to-day duties include quality control, quality assurance, and instrument maintenance. He/she must be proficient in assigned areas and willing to learn new technology. Education must meet the requirements defined by CLIA. MLS(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) certification preferred. Job Schedule 3 - 5 days/week: Monday – Friday. Starting time between 6 AM –9 PM with Rotating shifts. Includes weekends and call rotation shared with 10 other techs. On-call room available in hospital for overnight stays.
