Responsibilities
- Follows standard operating procedures for MLS/MLTs
- Ensures laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are met
- Recognizes and complies with safety hazards and protocols
- Collects and processes lab specimens with proper equipment
- Performs clinical laboratory testing, including manual and automated methods
- Collects and manages samples of blood and other fluids from patients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in laboratory or biological sciences required
- National certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) through an approved HHS agency, such as ASCP, or registry eligibility
- If working in North Dakota (ND), must be licensed by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice
- Maintain continuing education credits equivalent to state requirements for license and certifications
- May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Pay
$23.50 - $44.00 per hour
Schedule
Full time, 36 weekly hours, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm at Minot Northwest Family Medicine Clinic and Monday-Friday 7:00am-9:00pm, weekends 10:00am-4:00pm, and holidays 8:00am-2:00pm at Minot Highway-2 Walk-In Clinic.
