About the role

Serve as a Medical Imaging Field Engineer in the Dayton, OH area, servicing Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities include installation, service, maintenance, and modification of MR equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, customer service abilities, and the ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

  • Service Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites
  • Install, service, maintain, and modify MR equipment
  • Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers
  • Perform necessary administrative duties
  • Work flexible hours, including shifts and on-call rotations
  • Report to the Regional Service Manager

Requirements

  • Minimum Technical Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong electronics background and computer skills
  • Field service experience in Medical Imaging Equipment
  • Experience with MR equipment
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to drive independently, and good driving record
  • Physical capabilities to lift 50lbs, walk, climb ladders, bend, twist, sit, squat, stand, and work in high-reach positions

Qualifications

  • Advanced notice for shift changes
  • Flexible to work different shifts and on-call rotations
  • Willingness to travel and provide service in assigned geography
  • Knowledge and experience with service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment
  • Proficient in service tools and service test equipment
  • Proficient in PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365)

Pay

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $50,210 - $69,036. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Schedule

This role is governed by our Fleet Safety Policy. To be eligible for employment, applicants must hold a valid driver’s license in the state they reside and may not have any prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations (unless such a restriction is prohibited by state/local law).
