About the role
This position is based in the Cleveland, Ohio area and involves servicing MR Imaging Equipment. The Customer Service Engineer level will be determined based on prior experience.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Deliver timely and effective repairs, as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance and superior customer satisfaction.
- Manage financial performance within your territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
- Manage company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers.
- Perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma; technical Associate Degree or equivalent preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
- Valid driver’s license, ability to drive independently day and night, and a good driving record.
- Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment.
- Proficiency in all necessary network applications and tools (including but not limited to eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- General understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
- Demonstrated excellent judgment in customer relations and managing company resources.
- Strong competency in instrument systems technology, including mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology.
- Experience with electronics, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head).
- Walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, and high-reach work.
- Fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
Pay
The base pay range for this position is $58,240 - $80,080. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (after onboarding/training).

Additional Requirements
This position requires full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform essential functions. Many clients require Siemens Healthineers employees to meet certain Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include but are not limited to:
- Proof of valid identification (photo, driver’s license, SSN).
