Shift Requirements after onboarding/training for this role: Monday through Friday, 12p - 9p

Responsibilities

• Service Imaging Equipment in the Columbus, OH area.
• Customer Service Engineer Level can be adjusted based on prior experience.
• Field-based, customer-facing role that primarily installs, services, maintains, and modifies Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Serve as the "Face of Siemens" to the customer.
• Flexible and willing to work different shifts and On-Call rotations as business needs dictate, including willingness to work overtime as required. Advanced notice will be provided for any shift changes.
• Report to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience with the desired Medical Imaging Equipment.
• Ability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties timely and accurately.
• Strong background working with electronics and proficiency in the use of service tools and service test equipment.
• Proficient PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365 - Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
• Minimum Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong electronics background and computer skills required.
• 1-3 years of field service experience is desired.
• Ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.
• Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head).
• Walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting.
• Sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach.
• Fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.

This role is governed by our Fleet Safety Policy. To be eligible for employment, applicants must hold a valid driver’s license in the state they reside and may not have any prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations (unless such a restriction is prohibited by state/local law).

Vendor Credentialing Requirements

Position must have full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform the essential functions of this position. Many clients require Siemens Healthineers employees and representatives to meet certain Vendor Credentialing requirements before they will be allowed access to their sites. These requirements vary by client and may include, but are not limited to:

• Proof of valid identification (photo, driver's license, SSN).
• Criminal background checks.
• Drug screens.
• Immunizations (COVID-19, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus).
• Annual TB testing.
• Healthcare training.

Pay

The Base Pay Range for this position is $50,210 - $69,036. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position, the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
