Responsibilities

  • Service MR/CT/MI Equipment in the Springfield, MO area.
  • Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites.
  • Support diagnostics modalities initially, with potential to cross-train into other modalities.
  • Work different shifts and On-Call rotations as business needs dictate, including overtime.
  • Report to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment.
  • Experience with the desired Diagnostics Imaging Equipment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers.
  • Proficient in the use of service tools and service test equipment.
  • Proficient in PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365).
  • Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, with the ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Proficiency in all necessary network applications and tools (including but not limited to eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).
  • Able to locate, read, and understand documents for install, set-up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams and functional descriptions.
  • 7+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.

Skills

  • Familiarity with Siemens Medical Imaging Equipment.
  • Strong background in electronics and service tools.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $58,240 - $80,080. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Schedule

M-F 1000-1900 (eligible for shift differential pay).

This role may be located in various locations, including other company locations.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting 50 lbs regularly [floor to above waist/head], and often over 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head).
  • Walking.
