About the role

Serve MR/CT/MI Equipment in the Springfield, MO area. Field-based, customer-facing role installing, servicing, maintaining, and modifying Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites. Flexible shifts and on-call rotations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Service MR/CT/MI Equipment in the Springfield, MO area
  • Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites
  • Support diagnostics modalities initially, with potential to cross-train into other modalities
  • Work different shifts and on-call rotations as business needs dictate
  • Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers
  • Perform necessary administrative duties timely and accurately
  • Use service tools and service test equipment
  • Use PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365)
  • Locate, read, and understand documents for install, set-up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional descriptions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or technical Associates Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments
  • Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience with the desired Diagnostics Imaging Equipment
  • Ability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers
  • Strong background working with electronics and proficient in the use of service tools and service test equipment
  • Proficient PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365)

Skills

  • Knowledge of Siemens’ imaging equipment
  • Ability to work both individually and in an established team setting
  • Proficiency in all necessary network applications and tools
  • Ability to locate, read, and understand documents for install, set-up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional descriptions

Pay

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $58,240 - $80,080 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Schedule

M-F 1000-1900 (eligible for shift differential pay)

This role is governed by our Fleet Safety Policy.
